My Artistic Journey

Growing up on a small farm in Kansas, I was curious about the abandoned farmhouses and their history.  My interest in the architectural landscape grew to include other forms, such as historic and ornate imagery as I expanded my cultural surroundings.

Defining My Style

I am attracted to the spiritual nature of historic and ornate architecture and express this quality with light, space and the textural quality of the mark.  This allows my art to offer a tactile and visually engaging experience.

Evoking Emotion and Inquiry

It is my hope that the viewer is moved by the quality of the mark making and is compelled to explore the history and narrative embedded within the imagery.

The Rewarding Act of Creation

For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist is the exhilarating moment of pulling a successful print off the press. It's the culmination of vision, technique, and dedication, resulting in a tangible expression of my artistic voice.
